The Main Hall is otherwise known as the Edmonds Room.  It is named after the Edmonds family whose agricultural engineering business was based on what is now the site of the Village Hall and who have contributed so much to village life.

The Edmonds Room is a very light and airy room with a high ceiling. It measures 8.74 x 18.25 metres. As a guide, it caters for 200 people (maximum capacity) or 160 people seated for a meal or a lecture.  For a small additional fee, you can also hire the sophisticated sound system, upright concert piano and/or large, electrically controlled projection screen.  There is a modular stage that can be used if you wish.

The hall has a single badminton and short tennis court. It can also accommodate three indoor bowling mats.
