The Main Hall is otherwise known as the Edmonds Room.  It is named after the Edmonds family whose agricultural engineering business was based on what is now the site of the Village Hall and who have contributed so much to village life.

The Edmonds Room is a very light and airy room with a high ceiling. It measures 8.74 x 18.25 metres. As a guide, it caters for 200 people (maximum capacity) or 160 people seated for a meal or a lecture.

There is a sophisticated sound system (hand held and hands free microphones, Bluetooth receiver, amplifier with input jacks) , upright concert piano and a drop down wall hung projection screen.

There is a modular stage with 18 units of 0.75m each which can be configured in many ways.

The hall has a single badminton and short tennis court. It can also accommodate three indoor bowling mats.
