We meet on Tuesday evenings at 7pm – 8pm at Avington & Itchen Abbas Village Hall.
Taijiwuxigong is a system of Qi Gong and Tai Chi with both moving and standing exercises to improve health (skeletal, muscular, respiratory, blood pressure, digestion, hormones, posture and nervous system).
And there are mental benefits too! This is a moving meditation, meaning regular exercise can reduce stress. People report clearer mental functioning and feeling happier and stronger with exercise. Not only does this have a positive effect on our emotional and mental balance but it enables further possibilities for real life change.
Through specific focus and body alignment it is possible to activate other systems within the body. Using the centre of gravity, breath and focus, we can become aware of the main energetic centre and allow this to clear the energetic meridians and channels.
And most importantly, it is fun to practise!
We are a small, friendly group of beginners and experienced practitioners.
