The Winchester and District Beekeepers’ Association aims to promote the craft of beekeeping and increase public awareness of bees.

In summer (April-September) we meet on a Saturday once a month at members’ apiaries to see how others manage their bees, and then talk about it over tea.

In winter (October-March) we meet in Itchen Abbas Village Hall on the second Tuesday of each month to hear invited speakers on various bee-related subjects.

We run a ‘Beekeeping for Absolute Beginners’ day course on a Saturday at Itchen Abbas Village Hall, in March or April every year.
